As the coronavirus COVID-19 has turned into a pandemic, we are monitoring the situation daily. Safety is our first priority. So we have ramped up efforts to slow the spread of this virus among the homeless and other vulnerable people in Los Angeles county.
In Los Angeles county, one in nine people live in poverty, and more than 60,000 are counted as homeless. These populations severely lack access to proper care, hygiene, updated information, and medical resources, which makes them more susceptible to the virus. This is where we come in. This is who we serve.

You can be part of this effort:
$5 can provide an individual hygiene package.
$60 can provide a hygiene kit.
$100 can provide a family in need a food package and a hygiene kit.

Viruses, like COVID-19, affect us all. Whether we have the virus, know someone who does, are practicing “social distancing” as a preventative measure, or are monitoring the spread of the pandemic across the globe, we are all immersed in information about Coronavirus right now. We must remember that this is not a disease relegated to a certain race, religion, country, or group–we are all susceptible and we are all in this together.
